I’m 63 years old and recently was told I had improper tongue placement. I’ve been using the REMplenish water jug for 4 weeks now. I have seen some improvement but not much. I’m hoping it’s because I’m old and more set in my ways. I’m going to keep using it for another 4 weeks and see if you can indeed teach on old dog new tricks.
After using this for a month I can definitely feel a difference in how my tongue suctions to the roof of my mouth! I have stopped clenching my jaw at night and no longer need to sleep with a mouth guard. It is a bit disappointing to see how expensive this product is given that a stainless steel straw is quite cheap to purchase and really what we are paying for is the silicone nozzle. This nozzle on this bottle is definitely helping my child strengthen their tongue and I’m glad we were able to buy it. However for how expensive the product is, I’m quite surprised at how cheap the material and design of the water bottle is, I’m not sure how long it will hold up.
I got this for my husband with little faith he would actually use it. He is not usually in to this kind of stuff. But he’s been using it everyday and loves it. He is noticing that he is able to close his mouth more naturally. Mind you he is 32 and struggled with it his whole life! So pretty cool! Can’t wait to see what even more time will do!
While I love the concept of the straw, the bottle does not keep your drink cold at all. Pretty disappointing for a $60 water bottle.
I’ve had the nozzle a month. So far it feels like I’m still snoring pretty heavily, but I am glad to have a tool to be drinking more water every day. Can definitely tell my throat and soft palate muscles are getting a workout, hoping for some more definite changes in the next month or so
